Today is an important day, as we take the time to recognize and appreciate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his remarkable legacy. He devoted himself to civil rights, equality, justice, and peace for all people and was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to further these values. He spoke out against racism and segregation with powerful words that still ring true today – “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere”.
We must work together to continue his legacy of creating a better world for everyone.
